Muirfield Desktops
Muirfield’s OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manufacturing operation consists of a “Build to Order” facility which enables our sales staff to customize a workstation configuration to suit both your needs and your budget.
All components used in this process are sourced from local distributors and wholesalers, this ensures that all products are properly supported in the event of a warranty claim.
Our ability to select a range of components from different manufacturers gives greater flexibility, quicker response times and the ability to revise the build order in the event of component shortages, manufacturing defects, compatibility or premature component failure.
To maintain the highest level of quality extensive testing is carried out on all components to confirm quality, performance, compatibility and serviceability prior to production.
Our “Build to Order” model allows for a variety of Operating Systems to be pre-installed on workstations including Windows XP Home & Professional, Windows Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, Business or Ultimate in addition to server operating systems such as Windows 2003 Server and Small Business Server. Our staff can also assist with the installation of Linux-based operating systems.
Muirfield also offers pre-loaded OEM version software with our workstations including Microsoft Office, Norton, Trend Micro and McAfee security products.
