Photo Printing Excellence
The Epson tradition of photographic printing excellence is carried through with the Epson Stylus TX200. Epson was the first to deliver true BorderFree photo printing in an inkjet printer, and we have designed the Epson Stylus TX200 to create beautiful colour and black-and-white photographs that are totally borderless on 4x6, 5x7 and A4 sized papers.

And when it comes to print quality, then the Epson Stylus TX200’s 90 nozzles for Black and 90 nozzles for each of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow inks ensure every document and photograph you print has stunning quality and detail.

Epson Micro Piezo Print Head
At the heart of every Epson inkjet printer is the Epson MicroPiezo™ print head. It’s exactly the same technology that many of the world’s leading photographers, designers and signmakers use every day to achieve prints that are the world’s best. Instead of using a system that quite literally boils the ink to fire off ink droplets, Epson MicroPiezo™ takes full advantage of high-precision microelectronics to create perfectly spherical ink droplets so small as to be almost at the very limit of human vision.

Add to that, inkjet nozzles that help control incredibly accurate levels of droplet firing and you have an inkjet print head that guarantees photo, text and graphic prints of amazing quality.

Document management is meant to be simple, straightforward and powerful. That’s precisely what Epson engineers had in mind when they developed the Epson Stylus TX200. With little more than a few button presses, everything from faxing – either in colour or black-and-white – through to photocopying and even PC-free photo printing is just all too easy.

BorderFree copying: With Epson's leadership in true BorderFree, edge–to–edge copying, the Epson Stylus TX200 gives you the power and freedom to create copies of documents and prints on 4"x6", and A4 size that are true in dimension to the original. Forget about downsizing A4 scans to meet any restrictive and annoying border limitations. With BorderFree copying your A4 document or photo scan is printed exactly as you want it – edge–to–edge for a truly professional touch.

Monochrome and colour copying: While the majority of dedicated — and expensive — photocopiers are limited to black–and–white (monochrome) copying only, the Epson Stylus TX200 gives you total freedom to choose between black–and–white and colour copying, with a speed of up to 30cpm (copies per minute)*. Added to this the ability to create colour copies using premium quality Epson photographic papers and it's simply the push of a button to make brilliant copies of your photographs.

PC-Free copying: Regardless of whether your Epson Stylus TX200 is connected to PC/Mac or PC-free, the multi-function printer’s control panel gives you full access to the wide range of monochrome and colour copying.

Intelligent Ink Cartridge System
Each of the Epson Stylus TX200’s separate ink cartridges contains sophisticated circuitry, which tracks and maintains an accurate record of how much ink has been used and the amount of ink remaining. So, even if you remove a cartridge then reinstall it later, the Epson Stylus TX200’s printer driver knows immediately how much ink is still in the cartridge.

Now, instead of running out of ink halfway through a print, the printer driver automatically checks on the amount of ink in each cartridge then displays an early warning if the ink level in any of the cartridges is approaching empty. It’s the best possible system for using full cartridges for large print jobs, whilst making the most out of partly used cartridges for other smaller jobs. Maximum ink usage, maximum benefits.

Epson PhotoEnhance
To help you gain the most from your Epson Stylus TX200 photo printing efforts, advanced photo correction software has been built right into the printer driver. Requiring little more than selecting the Epson PhotoEnhance option before you print, the software automatically analyses image data and, where necessary, adjusts printer settings to optimise photo print output. It makes light work of correcting images that have been backlit, over–exposed or suffer from poor colouring; and by intelligent analysis of image data, it can adjust skin tones, scenery and landscapes for optimum photo results.

Ready out–of–the–box
When you open the box of the Epson Stylus TX200, everything you need to start printing documents and photographs is right there, packed, of course, in recyclable packing materials.

The Epson Stylus TX200 delivers full support for the PictBridge direct printing standard, providing enhanced compatibility across an enormous range of digital still cameras (DSCs). With PictBridge support, your Epson Stylus TX200 can be used for direct-from-camera printing with any PictBridge-enabled DSC, regardless of model or manufacturer.

High quality scanning
Regardless of whether you’re scanning photos or documents, the scanning capabilities of the Epson Stylus TX200 have more than enough of what it takes to deliver brilliant results. Core to this is an advanced micro-step drive that gives the Epson Stylus TX200 the ability to scan at resolutions of up 2400dpi.

Auto skew adjustment: Forget about having to deal with documents and photos that have slipped or been incorrectly positioned on the glass, resulting in a skewed scan.
