Several customers in the Werribee area who are using Westnet ADSL services have reported an internet outage.
Westnet have published information about this fault and have reported a hardware failure at the exchange.

Joanne Muir a director of Muirfield has nominated herself to participate in the 2015 Weekend to End Women’s Cancer benefiting the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
Joanne’s participation in the 2 day 60km walk through Melbourne is because Women’s Cancer is a cause close to Joanne’s heart due to her mother’s death from Ovarian Cancer many years ago.
Joanne needs to raise funds for this worthy cause and we would appreciate your support.

Since the first beta release of 3CX Phone System v12.5 in October our team has been testing the new version of the PBX and updated Client applications in our development environment, we are pleased to advise that with the release of the full 12.5 product that we’ve concluded our testing and will now be using 12.5 on all future installations.
3CX Phone System 12.5 includes some exciting new features which utilize the WebRTC technology, support for additional IP phones and VoIP providers, updated client applications and many improvements to existing functions and features.

Hewlett Packard has announced a safety recall for AC Power Cables supplied with equipment between September 2010 and June 2012 for the following items:
- HP and Compaq Notebooks
- Mini HP Notebooks
- AC Adapter and Docking Station accessories
The cables in question are moulded with a ‘LS-15′ marking and are in some instances reported to have potential to overheat posing a fire or burn hazard. For further information please visit this link.
